SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The Little Summer Sizzle Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 and ends at 08:00:00 PM ET on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Canada, who are age 18 or older at the time of entry. Void wherever prohibited by law. Employees of The Little Potato Company Ltd. (the “Sponsor”), US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Company (the “Sweepstakes Administrator”) and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) of, and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.addalittlesizzle.com and follow all entry instructions to complete the entry form and submit to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes (the “Entry”). Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.littlepotatoes.com/privacy-policy/.
Limit: One (1) Entry per person regardless of whether entrant has more than one email address. Entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email for the purposes of entering or participating in this Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, will void that entrant’s Entries and that entrant may be disqualified from participating in the Sweepstakes by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion. All Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Personal data relating to entrants will be retained by Sponsor for a reasonable period after the Sweepstakes closes to allow Sponsor to operate the Sweepstakes and other promotional activities in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Sweepstakes. If you are selected as the prize winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winners’ list.
PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)/ODDS:
Grand Prizes: There are five (5) Grand Prizes available to be won. The Grand Prize winners will receive one (1) $500 grocery store gift card and $100 worth of Little Potato Company product. Winner will have the option to select the grocery stores based on a list of store options provided by Sponsor at the time of winner notification as detailed below. The ARV of the Grand Prize is: $600 each.
The total ARV of all prizes available to be won: $3,000.
Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received.
Limit: One (1) prize per household.
RANDOM DRAWING: The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to be conducted at or around 2:00 PM ET on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, by the Sweepstakes Administrator in Rochester, New York, an independent representative of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final.
WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION: The potential winners will be confirmed via email and/or phone by US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Company, and will be required to sign and return, within five (5) days of notification, a Declaration and Release (collectively, “the Releases”). Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. The prize package will be awarded within approximately 45 days after the winner is verified. Winner will be notified by the Sponsor to coordinate delivery of the grocery store gift card at a store location near the winner’s residence as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and winner will be required to respond within seven (7) days of notification. Failure to respond as instructed may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.
Winners will be required to correctly answer a skill-based mathematical test question without mechanical or other aid (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone, or in the Sponsor’s form of Declaration and Release) within a limited time-period in order to be eligible to receive their prize. Not providing the answer within the required time period, providing an incorrect or incomplete answer, or noncompliance with the terms of administration of the skill-testing question will result in disqualification of the potential winner and an alternate winner may be selected. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate based on the circumstances and/or to comply with applicable law.
If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in their province of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute, sign, and return the Releases on minor’s behalf. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If Releases are returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or they are not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a separate random drawing.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these rules that winner will be disqualified, and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If Sponsor is unable to determine and verify a potential winner after repeated alternate drawings or if Sponsor fails to receive a sufficient number of entries to correspond to the number of prizes available to be awarded, Sponsor reserves the right to not award such prize(s).
Prize is not assignable nor transferable. No substitution is permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. No cash in lieu of prize and no exchange or substitution of prize will be made, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the winner’s sole responsibility.
Winners are responsible for all federal, provincial, local and income taxes associated with winning prize. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness, video tape, photographs, and statements for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.
GENERAL: Although subsequent attempts to enter may be received, only the first complete Entry received from a particular entrant will be eligible; subsequent attempts by the same person to enter, including entries submitted with an alternate email address, will be disqualified.
All participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that they hereby releases the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Administrator, and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each of the foregoing (the “Released Parties”), from all claims and liability relating to: (i) their entry into and participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity; and (ii) their acceptance and use/misuse of the prize offered. Furthermore, by entering the Sweepstakes, entrant also agrees that they assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by their participation in this Sweepstakes or use/misuse or redemption of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the “Authorized Account Holder” of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor may ask any entrant or potential winner to provide Sponsor with proof, to Sponsor’s satisfaction, that such party is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant (i) agrees to be bound by these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agrees to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes cannot be run as planned, Sponsor may disqualify any suspect entries or individuals from the Sweepstakes and any sweepstakes it sponsors and (a) suspend the Sweepstakes and modify the Sweepstakes to address the impairment, then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.
LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THIS WEB SITE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES/ARBITRATION: Subject to the provisions of the following paragraph regarding any matter within the jurisdiction of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, du Québec, as a condition of entry in this Promotion, each Entrant agrees that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Alberta, Canada without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Alberta, Canada or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Alberta, Canada. Some jurisdictions do not allow for limitations of certain remedies or damages and so those provisions may not apply to you.
QUEBEC RESIDENTS ONLY: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
Subject to the provisions of the preceding paragraph regarding any matter within the jurisdiction of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, du Québec, by participating in the Promotion and to the extent permitted by applicable law, each Entrant agrees that the exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim or demand related in any way to the Promotion will be decided by binding arbitration. All disputes between you and Sponsor, any of Sponsor’s Affiliates, or anyone associated with the production, development or handling of this Promotion, of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of the Promotion or the terms of these Official Rules, shall be without resort to class action, referred to an arbitrator in Edmonton, Alberta to be mutually agreed upon by both parties. Such arbitration shall be governed by the Arbitration Act, RSA 2000, c A-43, as amended from time to time. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on the parties and shall not be subject to any appeal or review procedure. The parties agree to share equally in the arbitration costs incurred and that, unless prohibited by applicable law, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses.
PRIVACY: As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant gives consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver their name, address and other information to third parties, including Sweepstakes Administrator, for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules, including, without limitation, the storing of your personal information for purposes of complying with provincial record retention requirements. Any information entrant provides to Sponsor may be used to communicate with entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winner’s list. Personal information collected from entrants are subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.littlepotatoes.com/privacy-policy/.
