A Little spin on a classic Canadian poutine recipe with beef, cheese curds, and (of course) Little Potatoes.

Ingredients

Poutine:

  • 1 lb A Little Garlic & Parsley™ Microwave Ready Little Potatoes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 7 oz beef sirloin, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cup cheese curds, chopped

Sauce:

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch diluted in 1 Tbsp of water
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Cook the Microwave Ready Little Potatoes tray for five minutes. Set seasoning pack aside.

  • Step 2

    Press each of the potatoes gently to obtain mashed potato patties.

  • Step 3

    Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry the potatoes for 3 to 4 minutes on each side to brown well. Cover the potatoes to keep them warm.

  • Step 4

    In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the sauce. Add seasoning pack from Microwave Ready Little Potatoes.

  • Step 5

    In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the meat for one minute. Pour in the sauce and bring to a boil.

  • Step 6

    Top the potatoes generously with the cheese and beef, then add the sauce. Serve.
