These Campfire Hot Dog Potato Packets are perfect for camping or for grilling! Hot dogs or sausages can be used along with diced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, and seasoning all wrapped up in aluminum foil. An all-in-one meal!

- Heavy duty aluminum foil

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs little potatoes
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 4 tbsp butter or margarine
- 4 tsp garlic salt
- (To taste) pepper
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions

Preheat the grill to 400°F.
Slice little potatoes in half.

Spray a large sheet of aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray. Place one cup of sliced potatoes on top of aluminum foil. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of diced onions, if desired.

Dot one tablespoon butter on top of little potatoes

Season potatoes with one teaspoon garlic salt and pepper (or to taste).

Then top with 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Top with one hot dog. Then drizzle with about 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Wrap the packet up by folding in the sides. Continue with the last three packets.

Place on the preheated grill and cook for 15 to 20 minutes (until potatoes are fork tender).

Carefully open the package and dig in! Top with sliced green onions if desired.
