We can’t get enough scalloped potatoes around the holidays, and it’s so easy to customize your layers of cheese and Creamer potatoes to suit any taste preference. Start with this basic, go-to recipe, or try one of our variations like cranberry and stilton, Tex-Mex, pumpkin, pumpkin spice, leftover turkey, or ham and Parmesan.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1.5 lbs Little Potatoes, sliced 1/8-inch thick
- (To taste) salt and pepper

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 °F.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add garlic and butter. Once melted, add the flour and incorporate well. Let cook for three minutes.

Reduce heat, and slowly incorporate the milk, whisking constantly. Turn the heat to medium, stirring frequently, and remove from the heat once the sauce thickens.

In a well-greased casserole dish, layer your potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Pour sauce over potatoes until covered.

Bake in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Top with your favorite cheese for the last 10 minutes of cooking, if desired.
