Smoked salmon tartare smashed potatoes make for a savory appetizer that’s so easy to prepare!

- Large saucepan
- Medium skillet
- Slotted spatula
Potatoes:
- 1.5 lbs Little Potatoes
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
Smoked Salmon Tartare:
- 4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
- 1 French shallot, chopped
- 2 Tbsp chives, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh dill pickle
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 lime, zest and juice
- 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds

Step 1
Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Add a pinch of salt as well as the Little Potatoes.

Boil the potatoes for seven minutes, then drain.

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little olive oil.

Press each of the potatoes gently to make smashed potato patties. Then fry the potatoes for 3 to 4 minutes each side to brown well. Set aside while you prepare the tartare.

Combine all of the smoked salmon tartare ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Spread each potato with a little cream cheese and top with smoked salmon tartare. Serve.
